Rosa A. Perry (Bolivar))'s Obituary
Rosa Agnes Perry, age 77 of Bolivar, Missouri passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at her home in Bolivar.
She was born May 1, 1935 in Pittsburg, Missouri, the daughter of Nichlos T. Bastion and Mabel (Quick) Bastion.
On August 3, 1951 she married Ralph Morris Perry in Harrison, Arkansas.
Rosa attended Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar and Drury University in Springfield.
She was a homemaker most of her life. She worked in the 70’s and 80’s for the Ozark Area Community Action Program, she also did home visiting for the elderly in her neighborhood for many years, taking care of them as if they were family.
Rosa was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Morris, her grandson, James Brown, two brothers and one sister.
Rosa is survived by her two daughters, Amy Butler and her husband James of Bolivar, Missouri, Christine Atkinson and her husband Allan of Decorah, Iowa, two sons, Steven Perry of Bolivar, Missouri, Dale Perry of Springfield, Missouri, three sisters, Trilla Jackson of Cross Timbers, Missouri, Pansy Smith and her husband Lonnie of Flemington, Missouri, Erma Beach and her husband Harvey of Warsaw, Missouri, two brothers, Chester Bastion and his wife Beverly of Wheatland, Missouri, Nichlos Bastion, Jr. and his wife Maryjane of Carmichael, California, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
