Rosalee Cook (Seymour)'s Obituary
Rosalee (Haworth) Cook, daughter of Cyrus and Nan (Blair) Haworth, was born April 11, 1938 in Forsyth, Missouri. She departed this world on June 14, 2013 in Cox Medical Center South, Springfield, Missouri at the age of seventy-five years, two months and three days.
Born and raised in the Forsyth area, Rosalee was one of eight children. On January 2, 1960 she was united in marriage to Victor Leon Cook and to this union a son and daughter was born. The young couple moved to Independence, Missouri before settling down on the family farm here in Seymour in 1974.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of thirty-four years Victor, her brothers Jurd, Glenn, Marvin, Jess, Don and her sister Verona.
Rosalee is survived by her children Kevin Cook of the home and Michelle Evans and husband Brian of Marshfield, Missouri; her grandchildren Ethan Jackson Evans and finance Valarie Jeter and Dalton James Evans all of Marshfield; her brother Lloyd Haworth of Centertown, Missouri; several nieces, nephews as well as a host of other dear family and friends.
A member of the Cedar Gap Baptist Church, Rosalee love her Lord. She humbly served him throughout her life, giving to others and sharing his grace and mercy. Her children were her pride and true joy, she loved them unconditionally. Never letting her hands be idle, Rosalee spent countless hours sewing her beautiful quilts and crafting her crocheting work. She raised an amazing garden and found favor in harvesting the fruits of her labor.
A faithful woman of God; a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and a caring neighbor and friend; we will miss Rosalee Cook. We celebrate her life, cherishing the memories she created for us.
