Rose Crain (Hartville)'s Obituary
Rose Jane Crain, daughter of Oma and Ora Lea Stephenson Cutbirth, was born August 3, 1955 in Mansfield, Missouri. She departed this life Saturday, November 17, 2018, at the age of sixty-three years, three months, and fourteen days.
Rose is preceded in death by her daughter, Cindy Jane Crain; her parents, Oma and Ora Lea Cutbirth; three brothers, Gerald, Alfred, and Arvil Henry Cutbirth; and a sister, Bonnie Lou Cutbirth.
She is survived by her two children, Clifford (Junior) Crain of Hartville, Missouri and Christine Harkey and her husband Daniel, of Mansfield, Missouri; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Tooley of Hartville, Missouri and Caroline Simons of Minnesota; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and caring friends.
Rose was born in Mansfield and raised in Hartville. She attended the Assembly of God Church and was saved at an early age. She knew her Lord and would often say that one day He is going to heal her and give back her sight.
Rose loved to listen to her tapes and enjoyed the radio as well. She also loved going to Wal-Mart and eating at KFC. Rose loved her family very much and enjoyed the company they offered. When her daughter tragically passed away, she lost her sight along with her daughter. Because she had lost her sight, she relied on family to take care of her. She was very grateful to have such a wonderful family in her life. We celebrate her life and will always cherish the many happy memories she created.
