Roselee M. Richardson (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Roselee Mae Richardson, daughter of James Martin and Ethel Kinkaid Porter, was born September 29, 1938, near Phillipsburg, Missouri. She departed this life Wednesday, July 10, 2013, in Christian Health and Rehabilitation Center South, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of seventy-four years, nine months, and eleven days.
Early in her life she was united in marriage to Roy Lee Perryman, and to this union one daughter and two sons were born.
On August 21, 1978, she was married to Jerry Wayne Richardson, and they shared the last thirty-four years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter, Tia Marie Perryman; two brothers, Bill and Johnny Porter; and two sisters, Gladys Dinwiddie, and Sue Sherrer.
Roselee is survived by her husband, Jerry Richardson, of the home; one daughter, Brenda Shaffer, and her husband, Ed, of Lebanon, Missouri; two sons, Rick Perryman, and his wife, Sherry, and Jerry Perryman, and his wife, Samanytha, all of Lebanon, Missouri; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Edith Petty, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Sadie Perryman, and her husband, Clifford, of Phillipsburg, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in the Phillipsburg community, and received her education there. After she and Roy were married, they made their home in the Phillipsburg and Conway area, and lovingly raised their family. Later, after she and Jerry were married, they made their home in Lebanon. Throughout the years, Roselee was a devoted and hardworking homemaker to her husband and family.
Roselee followed the Pentecostal faith and had attended Faith Pentecostal Church, near Lebanon.
In her spare time, she enjoyed having and going to garage sales, sewing, and shopping at Wal Mart. She greatly liked collecting dolls of all kinds and had an extensive collection. Her family was very important to her and she especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Roselee was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friends. We celebrate her life and know that she will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
A memorial has been established, and donations may be left at the funeral home.
