Rosie Hubbert's Obituary
Rosie Irene Hubbert, age 91 of Bolivar, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at the Citizens Memorial Healthcare Facility in Bolivar after a lingering illness.
She was born on March 20, 1920 in Polk County, Missouri the daughter of William Francka and Anna (Rusicka) Francka.
She was a homemaker and a longtime member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bolivar.
Rosie was united in marriage to Frank Hubbert on September 6, 1939 at the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church at Karlin and to this union three children were born.
Rosie was preceded in death by her husband Frank; son Bill; mother and father; brothers Bill and Joe Francka; sisters, Mayme Divin Julie Kroutil and Regina Francka.
Surviving is her son, Dannie F. Hubbert and wife Mary Jane of Bolivar, MO; her daughter, Diane Hubbert of Boca Raton, FL; her sister, Edith Francka of Bolivar. Also her grandsons Kevin and Dan Hubbert of Bolivar, MO, Dwayne Hubbert of Alton, IL, and Trent Hubbert of Houston, TX; granddaughter, Mary Ann Butler of Bolivar, MO and step-grandson Lindsay Gupton and step-granddaughter Nancy Gupton. Also her Great Grandchildren, LeAnn Hubbert, Jacob Butler, Allison Butler, Dylan Hubbert, Dalton Hubbert, Katie Hubbert and John Hubbert. And several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and many friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bolivar with Father Patrick Wissman as the Celebrant. Lector will be Ben Divin. The Eucharistic Ministers are Bernard and Barbara Francka and Jane Otradovec with Jim Otradovec and Jacob Butler as the Alter Servers. Gift Bearers will be Larry and Mary Kroutil. Organist will be Carol Divin with the Church Choir singing the musical selections. Burial will follow in the St. Wenceslaus Cemetery south of Bolivar under the care and direction of the Butler Funeral Home of Bolivar. Casketbearers will be Larry Kroutil, Larry Kellner, Jerry Divin, Stephen Hubbert, Monte Wheeler and Ronald Entlicher.
