So sorry for your loss. I enjoyed having Chris and Mike in class and knowing Roy through the state park construction team. I couldn’t make it to the service because I’m out of town.

Prayers for the family, Roy was such a good guy. Hadn't seen him much since High school but always remember him as friendly nice man, Rest in Peace Roy.
Rest In Peace Roy. You certainly did touch many people in State Parks. As a Park Superintendent in several parks I know I caused a loot of trouble with construction projects of one kind or another. One memory I have is while at Bennett Spring we were fighting with the “Concerned Citizens” on road changes in the park and the new road by the dam was being cut to allow a safer entry onto the main road. The head of the CC came up to the crew and made some not very nice words. Roy climbed down from his piece of equipment and came very close to losing his job. He did make a believer out of the man and the crew was never bothered again.
God Bless people like Roy. To the family I can only say celebrate the good times and know that Roy is celebrating in another place. Hope the fish are biting!
Love and condolences,

Park Superintendent, Retired
He was a good person and loved his sense of humor and laughter. God Bless you all.
Condolences to the Heimbeaugh families. Both his immediate family and the one I knew best, his park family. Roy used to pop in and visit the park offices over the many years I was there and he usually had a Butterfinger candy bar for Kay and he'd always ask if I had any "kisses" stashed away for him today, because he knew I always had chocolates hidden in a drawer for special visitors. (Not my normal candy jar), out for the public. He always left us with a funny story that brightened our day! He was always willing to help anyone. RIP Buddy, you will be missed by many.
From everyone at Truman State Park we send our deepest sympathies to you, the Heimbaugh family. Roy's legacy will live on thru our parks and the people he connected with.
"How lucky are we to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard"
Our deepest sympathies to the Heimbaugh family during this time and days to come. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers. Duane & Lydia Hees & family.
So sorry for your loss. Prayers to you all.
