Roy Jackson's Obituary
Roy Allen Jackson, son of Elmer Roy and Dorothy Ellen Climer Jackson, was born May 21, 1941, near Morgan, Missouri. He departed this life Thursday, December 29, 2011, in his home, in Republic, Missouri, at the age of seventy years, seven months, and six days.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Joyce; and a sister, Marie Rifenburg.
Roy is survived by two daughters; one niece; one nephew: a number of cousins; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born and raised in the Morgan, Missouri community, and attended school in Morgan and Conway. He made his home in Lebanon for several years, and worked as a painter in an automobile body shop. He then lived in Springfield, Missouri, where he did the same kind of work. For the last seventeen years, he had made his home in Republic, Missouri.
In his spare time he enjoyed going to garage sales.
Roy will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all of his family and many friends.
