Roy Painter (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Roy Dean Painter, age 51 of Bolivar, went home to heaven on December 27, 2013 at Cox Medical Center South following a brief illness.
Roy was born May 21, 1962 in Springfield, MO to Walter and Gayla (Wells) Painter.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenneth and Pauline Wells, two aunts, Joan Turpin and Peggy Jarman.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Martha. His two sons, Kenneth Tyler and Nathan Lee all of the home. His mother, Gayla Painter of Bolivar, MO; His sister, Terri Park and husband Jeff of Bolivar, MO; his nieces and nephews, Daiwa Emmert, Autumn Park, Brandon Emmert and Corey Park. He is also survived by three half-brothers and their families, Walt, Wendall and Tony. Along with three half-sisters and their families Lorna, Donna and Marlena. He is also survived by two uncles, Kenny Wells and wife Claudia of Topeka, KS and Allen Jarman of Raytown, MO. Mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lonnie and Lillian Shelten, Weaubleau, MO plus a host of cousins and many friends.
Memorial contributions may be given to establish and education fund for his sons.
