Roy Dean Turner (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Roy Dean Turner of Lebanon, Missouri, passed away early Monday morning, October 16, 2023 in his home. At the time of his passing, he was sixty-eight years, ten months and fourteen days.
He was born December 2, 1954 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Elmer David Turner and Stella Aletha Elam. He moved around often while growing up, spending most of his years in Mississippi. When he was an adult, he moved to Missouri for employment opportunities.
Roy had a deep, personal faith in God and was baptized at Highland Park Church of God. His family takes comfort in knowing he is now with his Lord Jesus Christ.
Roy was united in marriage to Evelyn Turner on October 20, 2000. Together they shared many happy memories and enjoyed living in the beautiful Missouri Ozarks.
She is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn, of the home; two daughters, Becky Austin of West Point, Mississippi and Lisa Arroya of Springfield, Missouri; two sisters, Barbara Clay and Cathy Oswalt, both of West Point, Mississippi; and three grandchildren.
Roy was a hard worker, working through pain much of the time. He built boats for many years in Lebanon.
He enjoyed fishing, playing computer games and watching old westerns. He loved his family will most certainly be missed by those who knew and loved him.
