Roy Vest's Obituary
Mr. Roy Lee Vest, age 65, of Dunnegan, MO, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2009 at 5:15 PM in the St. John's Hospital in Springfield, MO. Roy was born on August 30, 1943 in Polk County to Lonnie Lee Vest and Bessie Mae (Gaddy) Vest. His parents; three brothers, Virgil, Kenneth and Donnie Vest preceded him in death. He is survived by two sons; Tony Vest of Bolivar and Larry Vest of Humansville, MO; a daughter, Lisa Vest of Ft. Leonard Wood, MO; a sister, Shirley Pippin of Dunnegan; seven grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other relatives and friends. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 13, 2009 at the Payne Cemetery north of Polk with Pastor Carol Moeller officiating. Musical selections will be Go Rest High On That Mountain by Vince Gill and In The Arms Of An Angel by Sarah McLachlan. Casketbearers will be Tyler Pippin, Rodney Pippin, Jesse Pippin, Richie Pippin, Chris Pippin and Branden Lansdown. Burial will be under the care and direction of the Butler Funeral Home of Bolivar.
