Rubette Marie Reese (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Rubette Marie Reese, daughter of Hoyt and Florence Edgar Chandler, was born June 24, 1953, in Mulberry, Arkansas. She departed this life Wednesday, August 2, 2017, in Lake Regional Hospital, in Osage Beach, Missouri, at the age of sixty-four years, one month, and eight days.
On February 14, 1981, she was united in marriage to Linal H. Reese and they shared the last thirty-six years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Holly and Leslie; two sons, William and Patrick; and three brothers, James, Ernest Dean, and Harold Lee Chandler.
Rubette is survived by her husband, Linal, of the home; two daughters, Alicia Brenton, of Cedarville, Arkansas, and Julie Marts, of Fort Smith, Arkansas; three sons, Daniel Reese, Randall Parker, both of Lebanon, Missouri, and Sheldon Parker, of Vian, Oklahoma; twelve grandchildren; two brothers, Ricky David Chandler, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Roger Dale Chandler, of Mountainburg, Arkansas; two sisters, Patricia Steelman, of Van Buren, Arkansas, Wanda Fay Parker, and Betty Sue Stapp, both of Mulberry, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in Arkansas and attended school in the Mulberry area. She lived most of her adult years in the Mulberry and Fort Smith, Arkansas areas, and lovingly raised her children. She and Linal moved to Lebanon, Missouri eight years ago. Rubette was a devoted homemaker to her husband and family.
Rubette had attended the First Assembly of God Church in Arkansas and had a deep abiding faith in God.
She loved growing beautiful flowers, collecting dolls and frogs, and liked working puzzles. Her family was very important to her and she especially enjoyed her children and grandchildren.
Rubette was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she made for them during her lifetime. All services for Rubette Reese will be private under the care and direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon, Missouri.
