Ruby Buttram (Hartville)'s Obituary
Ruby Jane Buttram, daughter of Gerson and Verby (Lowery) Climer, was born February 6, 1935 in Wright County, Missouri. She departed this life on Wednesday, February 17,2021 at Cedar Crest Nursing Home in Washington, Missouri; at the age of eighty- six years and eleven days.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, Bob, two brothers, Jason and Johnny Claimer and two sisters, Gladys Weaver and Dessie Edwards.
Ruby is survived by her children; Waldo Buttram of Mountain Grove, Missouri, Wallace Buttram of Hartville, Missouri, Chester Buttram and his wife Dixie of Hartville, Missouri and Helen Connell and her husband John of Union, Missouri, seven grandchildren; Dodey, Johnny, Dean, Chester, Jr., JC, Rita and Landon, several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Ruby lived almost all her life in Wright County in Hartville and Grovespring. She worked for the post office, ASC office and cleaned homes for many friends in the aera. She loved the farm life and working cattle.
Ruby had made a profession of faith in Christ and had attended Little Vine Freewill Baptist Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed visiting with family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and caring neighbor and friend. Ruby had a helping hand for anyone who needed it. We will miss her dearly but we’ll always cherish the wonderful memories we had with her.
