Ruby J. Hutson (Hartville)'s Obituary
Ruby Jean Hutson, daughter of Travis James and Aleth Moore Dugger, was born August 2, 1941 in Hartville, Missouri. She departed this life Saturday, September 21, 2013 in the Hartville Care Center, Hartville, Missouri, at the age of seventy-two years and nineteen days.
On October 31, 1959, Ruby was united in marriage to Lowell Ray Hutson and to this union five children were born.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell, on May 20, 2001; and her parents.
Ruby is survived by her children, Lowell Hutson and wife Robin of Ava, Missouri, Jim Hutson and wife Jenelle of Ava, Missouri, Dale Hutson and wife Amanda of Seymour, Missouri, Ann Gerling and husband Joe of Mansfield, Missouri, and Floyd Hutson and wife Melinda of Cabool, Missouri; twenty grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; her siblings, Arthur Dugger and wife Linda of Lawson, Missouri, Marie Hicks and husband George of Hartville, Missouri, and Kyle Dugger and wife Becky of Mansfield, Missouri; a number of nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and many dear friends.
Ruby spent most of her younger years living in the Hartville area and was a graduate of Hartville High School in the Class of 1960. She worked as a CNA for most of her life. In 1993, she started working at Hartville Care Center, when they opened and after 20 years of service, retired in June of 2013
Ruby accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and made her profession of faith though baptism on July 19, 1981. She was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Mansfield, Missouri.
In her spare time, Ruby enjoyed crocheting, gardening, baking, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Ruby was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will cherish the many wonderful memories she has created for her family and many dear friends.
