Ruby M. Kincaid (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Ruby May (Canfield) Kincaid, daughter of William Graham and Mary Belle (Fondren) Canfield, was born September 18, 1912, in Henrietta, Oklahoma. She passed away peacefully August 9, 2011, in St. Luke's Northland Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri.
She united in marriage with George William Albert Kincaid on October 28, 1928 at the home of her parents in Climax Springs, Missouri, and lived most of her life in Camdenton.
She became active in the Camdenton Senior Citizens with her late, beloved husband, William, and after his death learned to dance. She loved to dance and did so at every opportunity, even after her health made it challenging. She spent many hours sewing unique clothing, crocheting afghans, making quilts for family and friends, baking, gardening, and taking pictures of anything and everything that caught her eye. She had many flowers around her home, inside and out; the brighter and more colorful, the better. She made friends wherever she went; she had many in Camdenton and the surrounding area and at Garden Valley Nursing Home in Kansas City, where she lived the last year of her life. At Garden Valley she took great delight in visits with her family and especially with her newest grandchild, Zaiden William Kincaid, born December 22, 2010.
Ruby was preceded in death by her first two infant sons; her parents; husband William; and son Paul of Battle Creek, Michigan.
She is survived by sons, Marvin of Turlock, California, Dan and wife Pat of Galt, Missouri, Gene and wife Sue of Brisbane, Australia, Phil and wife Garnett of Liberty, Missouri, and Mike and wife Cheri of Gladstone, Missouri; a daughter Artie Dority and husband Tom of Stigler, Oklahoma; twenty-six grandchildren; fifty-two great-grandchildren; fifteen great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great grandchild.
She was a sweet, loving person who touched the hearts of everyone she met. She will be missed terribly.
