Ruby Fern Moyer (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Ruby Fern Moyer, daughter of the late Leland Elbert & Lela (Hendrix) Compton, was born on March 30, 1939 in Milo, Missouri and departed this life on April 28, 2018 in Buffalo, Missouri. At the time of her passing she was 79 years and 28 days of age.
Ruby served in the U.S Army at the Irwin U.S Army Hospital in Ft. Riley, Kansas. It was there where she met Edward T. Moyer. They were later united in marriage on June 30, 1958 and to this union three children were born, all of whom survive her. Ruby was a school teacher, did upholstery and loved to build doll houses from kits.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Lee Compton, Jim Compton, Bruce Compton and Dan Compton. She is survived by her husband Edward; two sons, Louis (Laura) Moyer and Douglas Moyer & Teresa Cole; her daughter, Donna (Carl) Mitchell; and her brother, Bill Compton; Ruby loved her nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all.
