Ruby Price (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Ruby Price, daughter of Samuel Arthur and Edna Sandage Denny, was born, September 18, 1918 in Decaturville, Missouri. She departed this life, Monday, June 4, 2012, at Ozark Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of ninety-three years, eight months and seventeen days.
On February 16, 1935 in Decaturville, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Marley Everett Price and to this union two children were born. Together they shared sixty years of marriage before his passing on January 17, 1996.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Barbara Price; a grandson, Terry Lee Jeffries; three sisters, Gracie Coleman, Mabel Coleman and Leona Moreland and three brothers, John William Denny, Harold Glenn Denny and Lester James Denny.
Survivors include a daughter, Geraldine Jeffries and husband Russell of Montreal, Missouri; four grandchildren, Tammy Cuvillier of Montreal, Missouri, Teresa Jeffries of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Kathy Nockunas and husband Erick of Montreal, Missouri and Rusty Jeffries and wife Lori of Montreal, Missouri; eleven great-grandchildren; sixteen great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Jesse Denny and wife Acey of Camdenton, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Ruby was a life-long resident of Camden County. She lovingly took care of her home and family. She cared for her daughter in the home.
Ruby made a profession of faith and attended Decaturville Missionary Baptist Church as long as her health permitted.
She was a talented gardener and raised many beautiful flowers and plants. She could make a pie that was second to none. Most of all, spending time with her family brought her joy.
She was a loving mother, grandmother sister and aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. She touched many lives and her memory will linger on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
