Ruby Lee Wilson (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Ruby Lee Wilson, daughter of Fred Neeley and Ferrel Cravens, was born December 21, 1944, in Hickman, Kentucky. She departed this life Wednesday, November 16, 2022, in her home, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of seventy-seven years, ten months, and twenty-five days.
On March 12, 1975, she was united in marriage to Richard Wayne Wilson and they shared thirty-eight years of happiness and memories before Richard’s passing on October 6, 2013.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Agnes Gardner; a son, Johnny Gardner, Jr.; a brother, Jesse Cravens; and a sister, Martha Ellis.
Ruby is survived by a daughter, Penny Sue Henderson, of Lebanon, Missouri; two granddaughters, Mary Alice Stowe, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Tammy L. Sufficool, and her husband, Tyler, of Laquey, Missouri; six great-grandchildren, Shailynn, Nyla, Rylan, Jillian, Liam, and Lavon; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was raised in Kentucky and Flint, Michigan. Ruby was a devoted homemaker to her husband and family. In the 1970’s, she moved to Lebanon, Missouri, and soon married Richard. She continued to be a homemaker and loving mother.
Ruby had made her profession of faith in Christ and followed the Pentecostal religion through the years. She enjoyed singing and often did special selections in church along with her husband, Richard.
In her spare time she liked crocheting and gardening. She loved her family dearly and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ruby was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and was a caring friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she made with them during her lifetime.
All services will be private.
A memorial has been established and donations may be made through the funeral home.
