Rudolph Entlicher's Obituary
Rudolph Augustine Entlicher, age 85, of Bolivar, Missouri went to be with the Lord, surrounded by his loving family, at 11:55am, Saturday, May 2, 2009 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. He was born February 25, 1924 near Karlin, Missouri, the son of Rudolph Augustine and Louisa Fiala Entlicher. Rudolph was married to Maxine Seiner and two children were born to this union, Ronald Kent Entlicher and Brenda Kay Entlicher. He is survived by his two children, Ronald and his wife Sue and Brenda and her husband Frank, all of Bolivar, Missouri. Four grand children Natalie Francka and husband, David, Ronda Stewart and husband Terry, Marcus Ross all of Bolivar, Missouri and Sheila Walters and husband Randy of Smithville, Virginia. Seven great grandchildren, Amanda, Amber and Kenneth Walters, Shania and Meeah Francka, Addie and Emma Stewart. He is also survived by Caroline Clark of the home, who has been a faithful loving, companion these last few years. Rudolph was proceeded in death by his parents, an infant brother and his second wife Rose Begtohl Entlicher. Rudolph was a humble man who had a quiet love for his family. He attended Hickory Point School until eight grade at which time he began helping his mother full time to farm. He assumed responsibility at an early age due to the death of his father before he was born. His sacrifices were great for his family as his desire was to leave a farming legacy for his children and grandchildren. He was a farmer all his life and loved raising cattle. Early in his life he started a dairy and later raised beef cattle. One of his greatest pleasures was checking his cattle, which he did about three weeks before his death. Rudolph attended Bolivar Assembly of God church. His faith in the Lord and Jesus as his Savior sustained him through many difficult times in his life. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the First Assembly of God Church in Bolivar, Missouri with Reverend Gary Ankrom and Reverend Randy Urich officiating. Music will be by Addie Stewart and Russ & Malinda Batten. Burial will follow at Karlin Cemetery under the direction of the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar. Pallbearers will be Terry Stewart, David Francka, Danny Hubbert, Keith Smith, Russ Batten and Marcus Ross. No visitation will be held.
