Russell Fohn's Obituary
Russell Anthony Fohn, son of James D. and Margaret Katherine Herod Fohn, was born November 14, 1978, in Lebanon, Missouri. He departed this life Thursday, May 28, 2009, at his home, near Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of thirty years, six months, and fourteen days. On July 6, 2002, he was united in marriage to Stacy Lynn Waterman, and they shared the last six years. He was preceded in death by his mother; his maternal grandfather, Ray Decker; his paternal grandparents, James Hadley and Vera E. Fohn; and his father-in-law, John Waterman. Anthony is survived by his wife, Stacy, of the home; his two daughters, Morgan and Maddie, of the home; his father, James D. Fohn, of Lebanon, Missouri; his maternal grandmother, Louise Decker, of Lebanon, Missouri; a brother, Jimmy Fohn, and his wife, Mindy, of Eldridge, Missouri; three sisters, Sheila Caudle, of Eldridge, Missouri, Aleisha Campbell, and her husband, Michael, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Angie Roberts, and her husband, Kelly, of Conway, Arkansas; a number of nieces and nephews; his mother-in-law, Debbie Waterman, of Lebanon, Missouri; a brother-in-law, John Waterman, and his fiancée, Lindsey Heichberg, of Lebanon, Missouri; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; as well as a host of other relatives and many friends. He was born and raised in the Lebanon area and graduated from Lebanon High School in the Class of 1998. Soon after he began working as a toolmaker’s helper at Detroit Tool and Engineering Company. He also had operated an excavation and backhoe business for awhile before returning to Detroit Tool as a welder. He and Stacy had made their home near Lebanon, and were lovingly raising their daughters. Recently, Anthony had opened a new business called “Family Deals” in downtown Lebanon. Anthony was a very caring person who loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. He greatly liked being outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He possessed a wonderful sense of humor and never liked playing by the rules. Anthony was a loving husband, father, son, grandson, brother, uncle, and nephew, and was a good neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and will treasure the memories he made for his family and friends. Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday May 31, 2009 at the Holman Howe Funeral Home, Lebanon. Entombment will be in the Mt. Rose Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation is 7-8:30 pm on Saturday evening at the funeral home under the direction of the Holman-Howe Funeral Home Lebanon, Missouri.
