Russ is my late husband, Ed Willman’s, first cousin through his Mother. He & Ed grew up together spending every Christmas and most other holidays together. They were a close loving family. He will be missed by us all.

I was blessed to meet Russ & Jennie the summer of 1977 at the age of 12. Jennie Ruth was my dad’s 1st cousin and they reconnected when my dad moved from CA to STL in 1976 and attend Halls Ferry Christian Church. Russ & Jen would invite our family and the youth from HFCC to their lake place annually and taught me along with many others how to water ski and be kind individuals 😇

The Connolly families grew up across the street from each other in Raymondville MO and were very close so Russ always said he felt more like a Connolly than a Schmidt.

I would spend countless evenings watching Cardinals Baseball games and Blues Hockey games along with Kansas City Chiefs games with Russ. This afforded me an opportunity to learn a whole lot about Russ & his life. To say he was a wonderful & amazing man is an under statement ❣️️

Best compliment Stephanie & I received was on Wednesday May 31st at Arrow Head Senior Living when Russ said “you 2 are like daughters to me” 🥰

“See you later Russ and thank you for giving my mom, my dad and Jennie hugs when you arrived in Heaven” 💜
