Ruth Maberry's Obituary
Ruth Wanne Maberry, age 84, of Bolivar, Missouri passed away on Saturday morning at Parkview Health Facility in Bolivar, Missouri. She was born December 16, 1925 in Barry County, Missouri to Aultie Charles Kennedy and Florence Malinda (Russell) Kennedy. Wanne married Roy Lee Maberry on September 16, 1941 in Wheatland, Missouri. Roy preceded her in death on November 2, 2003. She was a homemaker and a very talented artist. She enjoyed her family, her grandchildren, and was a member of the United Methodist Church in Bolivar, Missouri where she taught and led many Bible Studies and an adult Sunday School class for many years. Wanne is survived by her son, Rex Maberry and his wife Linda of Bolivar, Missouri, two grandchildren, Caleb Maberry and his wife Laura of Overland Park, Kansas, Amanda Evans and her husband Nathan of Roach, Missouri, one brother, Bill Lipe of Webb City, Missouri and a sister, Edwinna Payne of Fayetteville, North Carolina. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri with Reverend Dan Adkison officiating. Musical selections will be Amazing Grace-My Chains Are Gone and He Lives by Pat Adkison. Carol Krueger will be playing the piano. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Gardens in Bolivar, Missouri. A visitation will be from 5-7pm, Monday evening at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar. Pallbearers will be Rex Warren, Roger Cansler, Frank Terhune, Walter Yang, Jim Zaerr and Ralph Weeks. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Nickerson and Johnny Cansler.
