Ruthanne Oglesby's Obituary
Ruthanne Oglesby, age 71, of Bolivar, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at the Stockton Nursing Home in Stockton, Missouri. She was born January 27, 1937 in East St. Louis, Illinois to Raymond B. Thompson and Juanita Lawrence Thompson. She was a Nurse and the Professor of Nursing at the University of Florida, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Bolivar, Missouri. She is survived by her husband; Ralph Oglesby of Bolivar, Missouri, a son; Thomas Tharp of Boise, Idaho, a daughter; Lisa Mead of Austin, Texas, her mother; Juanita Thompson of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, a sister; Sandra J. Nagel and her husband Arnold of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, two stepsons; Rodney Allen Oglesby and his wife Donna of Bolivar, Missouri, Robert Lloyd Oglesby and his wife Robyn of Parker, Colorado, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, January 24, 2009 at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri with Reverend Billy Russell officiating. Musical selections will be His Eye Is On The Sparrow, Because He Lives,and Precious Lord Take My Hand. Burial will be private at Crestview Memorial Gardens in Bolivar, Missouri.
