Sally McHale (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Sally Vrenda McHale, daughter of Arthur Artini and Ethel Leona Boyd Cobb, was born, July 9, 1927 in Paragould, Arkansas. She departed this life, Monday, October 5, 2015, in Carondelet Manor, Kansas City, Missouri at the age of eighty-eight years, two months and twenty-six days.
On June 27, 1954 in St. Louis, Missouri, she was united in marriage to John Donald McHale, and to this union two children were born. Together they shared forty-four years of marriage until his passing on October 21, 1998. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Joseph Cobb and a sister, Roberta Liebler.
Survivors include her two children, Michele Fluchel and her husband John Charles of St. Charles, Missouri and John McHale, Jr. and Casey Wagoner of Kansas City, Missouri; three siblings, Ray Cobb of Los Angeles, California, Robert Cobb of Houston, Texas and Mae McKay of St. Louis, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Sally spent the majority of her life in St. Louis. She worked as office manager at the A&P Grocery and later was the manager of St. Louis City Police Department Credit Union. She and her husband retired to the Sunrise Beach area of Lake of the Ozarks twenty years ago.
Sally made a profession of faith and was a member of Peace Lutheran Church. She was also a member of the Hurricane Deck Lions Club and was a Red Hatter. In her spare time, she loved to shop and dine out. Most of all, time spent with family and friends was precious to her.
She was a loving mother, sister and aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends.
Memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, and left at the funeral home.
