Sally Ward (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Sally Ann Ward of Bolivar, Missouri, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and love. Born on June 8, 1954 in Germany, Sally lived a life marked by strength, devotion, and unwavering love for her family. Sally’s heart was her family, and she found joy in every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was also skilled in upholstering, a talent she used to bring new life to old things—much like she did with the people around her. Her warmth, laughter, and faith will live on in the countless lives she touched. After retirement, Sally enjoyed gardening, fishing, and sitting on her back porch watching the birds. Proceeded in death by Elmer and Ethie Roberts, Carl Roberts, Lloyd Roberts, and Sharon Roberts. She is lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her siblings: Kay Scheppmann, John Roberts and Spouse Cecilia Roberts Fay Roberts, and Brenda Kennedy. Sally’s legacy lives on through her children: Deana McIntosh (spouse Adam), Sarah Wilkinson (spouse John), Rachel Dees (spouse Billy), Josh Scheppmann (spouse Debra), and Brandon Ward. Sally was a proud and devoted grandmother to Alex McIntosh, Jacob McIntosh, Brena Martin, Sarah Sloan, Kaylea Wilkinson, Saber Dees, Ryan Wilkinson, Zoe McIntosh, Madalynn Roller, Gabe McIntosh, Johnny Wilkinson, Carson Scheppmann, Josalynn Scheppmann, Marshal Ward, and Greyson Scheppmann. She also leaves behind her cherished great-grandchildren: Taylin, Joleigh, Hayzel, Saylor, Shyla, Liam, Hudson, Zadie, River, Asher, Steele, Nixon, Eli, Jericho, and Whitley, plus a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her own family, Sally was a devoted foster mom to many children over the years, offering love, stability, and a safe home to those who needed it most. Her memory will be forever held close in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Services for Sally will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at the Butler Funeral Home of Bolivar, MO. Visitation will be held 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to services.
