Sandra Burton (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Sandra Sue Burton (Allen), daughter of the late Lorene Allen (Atchley) was born in Amarillo TX in 1945 and was raised in Louisburg Missouri by her loving family; her mother and beloved Mamo & Pa, Uncle Bus and Aunt Polly and many others she adored and always held dear to her heart.
At age 12 Sandra and her mother moved to Kansas City Missouri. She finished school and was a brilliant and beautiful lady who was valedictorian of her graduating class. She married at age 18 and had her first little girl at age 20. Sandra worked for a few years as an office secretary and at age 26 stayed home after the birth of her 2nd little girl at age 26. She was a stay at home mom for 14 years creating a lifetime of wonderful memories for her girls. Later she went to work as a church secretary for 15 years and then worked as a paralegal for many years before retiring at age 65 and residing in Battlefield Missouri. She enjoyed life outdoors, always working in her yard and loved animals, more than anyone could imagine and they all loved her right back. She loved visiting and spoiling her family, especially all her grandchildren.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents and uncle Bus Atchley. She is survived by her daughters, Susan & husband Mike Ray of Republic, MO and Robyn & husband Steve Smith of New Berlin, WI; five grandchildren, Nick Dibben, Samantha Ray, Carter Smith, Payton Ray, and Chloe Smith; and three great-grandchildren, Kade Ryan Dibben, Stella Rae Dibben, Rowan James Johnson; her aunt Polly Atchley; cousin, Morgan (Barbara) Atchley; great-niece, Virginia Roby; and a host of friends who will all truly miss her.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the animal shelter of the donors choosing.
