Sandra Carlson (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Sandra K. Carlson was born February 21, 1942, in St. Louis, Missouri to Morris and Clara Williams Dougan. She entered into rest on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. She was eighty-four years, one month and nineteen days of age.
Sandra grew up in St. Louis and on June 13, 1970, was united in marriage to Dean Carlson. They made many wonderful memories before he passed away on August 13, 2007.
In addition to her loving husband, Dean, she is preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Clara Dougan and her sister, Pam Dougan.
Sandra is survived by four children, Chris Carlson and his wife Dorinda of Howard, Kansas, Karen Piercy and her husband Carey of Lebanon, Missouri, Jeff Olsman and his wife Angie of Howard, Kansas, and Candace Stegan and her husband Scott of Wichita, Kansas; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
After Sandra and Dean were married, they moved to Wichita, Kansas and in 1978, moved to Conway, Missouri. In 1983 the family moved to Howard, Kansas before moving to Georgia in 1988. Although they lived several places, Missouri was always near and dear to their hearts and returned to Missouri to enjoy their retirement years.
Sandra was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses in Lebanon. She enjoyed her time of fellowship there and the friends she made.
She loved doing puzzles, gardening and cooking. Throughout her life, Sandra was known for her unwavering dedication to her family, embodying the roles of a loving wife, devoted mother, and cherished grandmother and great-grandmother. Her home was a haven of warmth, love, and laughter, where countless memories were created and treasured.
