Sandra Ann Kelsay (Hartville)'s Obituary
Sandra Ann Kelsay, daughter of Ivan Almon and Grace Celess Hightower Kelsay, was born December 28, 1950 in Hartville, Missouri. She departed this life Wednesday, November 20, 2013 in Christian Health Care North, Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of sixty-two years, ten months, and twenty-three days.
Sandy was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her children, Stacy Kelsay and wife Carla of Harvest, Alabama, Danny Kelsay and wife Cheryl of Hartville, Missouri, April Blackmon and husband Tim of Kyle, Texas, and Cari Harp of Mansfield, Missouri; grandchildren, Shantell Kelsay, Breanna Kelsay, Laci-Nicole Kelsay, Jade Kelsay, Gabrielle Blackmon, and Laley Blackmon; great-granddaughter, Noelle Pappas; her siblings, Janette Hudson and husband Darrell of Grovespring, Missouri, Vina Bass of Hartville, Missouri, Judy Dugger of Hartville, Missouri, and Robert Kelsay and wife Betty of Mountain Grove, Missouri; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Sandy was born in Hartville and was a graduate of Hartville High School in the Class of 1968. She was a lifelong resident of Hartville and had worked at the H.D. Lee plant for a number of years.
She was baptized on May 13, 1962 and was a member of the Hilltop Pentecostal Church in Hartville.
Sandy was a member of T.O.P.S. in Grovespring, and enjoyed playing the lottery and drinking coffee. She loved spending time with her family and friends, playing “Gotchie” with her mom, playing as many as 147 games in one day. Bingo, Monopoly, and Chinese checkers were a few of the other games she enjoyed.
Sandy was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will treasure the many wonderful memories she has created for her family and friends.
