Sasha N. Payne (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Sasha Nicole Payne, daughter of Wendell and Jennifer L. Dinwiddie Hawkins, was born January 7, 1989, in Springfield, Missouri. She departed this life Thursday, March 18, 2021, in Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of thirty-two years, two months, and eleven days.
On May 23, 2009, she was united in marriage to Andrew Scott Payne, and to this union two sons were born.
Her mother preceded her in death.
Sasha is survived by her loving husband, Andrew, of the home; two sons, Alexzander and Titus Payne, both of the home; her parents, Wendell Hawkins, and his wife, Debbie, of Marshfield, Missouri, Betty Ethridge and her husband, John, of Marshfield, Missouri; her father-in-law, Randy Payne, of Galena, Missouri; her mother-in-law, Linda Dozier, and her husband, Dennis, of Lebanon, Missouri; a brother, Justin Murphy, of Marshfield, Missouri; a sister, Jana Jemes, and her husband, Josh, of Conway, Missouri; a brother-in-law, Eric Beckner, of Lebanon, Missouri; two sisters-in-law, Lindsey Dozier and her fiancé Xavier Vire, and Emily Vander Berg and her husband, Jared, both of Lebanon, Missouri; three nieces and one nephew; her maternal grandparents, Mike and Jane Dinwiddie, of Seymour, Missouri; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many friends.
She was raised in the Conway, Missouri area, and graduated from Conway High School. She started college in 2007, and also started a career at the same time. She worked as a waitress at Applebee’s Restaurant for a time, and then became the assistant manager at Arby’s. After she and Andrew were married, they made their home near Lebanon, and lovingly raised their sons. Along with being a devoted homemaker and mother, Sasha had also worked as a Paraprofessional for the Camdenton High School for the last few years.
She enjoyed quilting and baking, and liked going to drive-in movies. She and Andrew liked attending Comic con and car shows each year. They had a love for vintage cars. They owned several vintage cars including a a 1957 Belair. She had a fondness for cows and liked cow print items. Her family was always central in her life and she especially enjoyed family parties and gatherings.
Sasha was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, and was a caring friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will hold tight to the wonderful memories she created for them during her short lifetime.
A memorial for her children’s education has been established and contributions may be made through the funeral home.
