Scotty W. Wells 's Obituary
Scotty Wayne Wells, son of Clifford Wayne and Pamela May Griffin Wells, was born November 7, 1975, in Lebanon, Missouri. He departed this life Thursday afternoon, April 23, 2015, in Mercy Hospital, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of thirty-nine years, five months, and sixteen days.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Dottie Griffin; and his paternal grandparents, Wayne and Virginia Wells.
Scotty is survived by a daughter, Rhiannon Wells, of Lebanon, Missouri; a son, Elijah Wells, of Lebanon, Missouri; his parents, Clifford and Pam Wells, of Lebanon, Missouri; his maternal grandfather, Irvin Griffin, of Lebanon, Missouri; two sisters, Jean Ann Rushing, and her husband, Shawn, and Joni Wells, all of Lebanon, Missouri; three nieces, Kaleah, Journey, and Symphony; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born and raised in the Lebanon, Missouri area, and graduated from Lebanon High School in the Class of 1994. He then made his home in the Lebanon community and worked for the Durham Company for over fifteen years. He was currently employed by Marine Electrical Products in Lebanon.
Scotty had professed his faith in Christ and was baptized, and was a member of the Chapel In The Woods Church, near Lebanon.
In his spare time he enjoyed being outdoors where his favorite activities were hunting for deer and coon, and fishing. He was extremely fond of motorcycles and muscle cars and enjoyed driving both. He loved his family dearly and especially enjoyed stamp collecting and antiquing with Rhiannon, and playing video games with Eli. He was an easy person to like and he had made many friends throughout the years.
Scotty was a loving father, son, grandson, brother, uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. His family and friends will hold tight to the wonderful memories he made for them and will remember him fondly forever.
