Shane Patrick Norman (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Shane Patrick Norman, age thirty-three, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023 in Potosi, Missouri. He was born in Springfield, Missouri on May 17, 1990 to Eric W. Norman and Margaret Hicks.
Shane was raised in Lebanon and was a 2008 graduate of Lebanon High School and was already enlisted with the United States Army. He served in the Military Intelligence department with the South Command in Florida. After serving in the Army, he went to work in Knoxville, Tennessee as a salesman before returning home to Lebanon.
Shane was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Wayne and Patty Hicks and paternal grandfathers, John Lewis and Charles Williams.
He is survived by his parents, Eric and Marcia Norman and Margaret Hicks, all of Lebanon, Missouri; a son, Sylus; a daughter, Nova; his brothers, Zachary Haring of Springfield, Missouri, Samuel Haring of Sacramento, California, Trent Arrington and Peyton Knapp, both of Lebanon, Missouri; his sister, Avery Hicks of Lebanon, Missouri; paternal grandparents, Rick and Betty Norman of Eldridge, Missouri, Lillian Lewis of Ponca City, Oklahoma and Wanda Williams of Lebanon, Missouri; several aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends.
He enjoyed hunting, being outdoors and was a good golfer. He liked jogging and working out.
Shane was very patriotic and was loyal to the United States of America. Above all, he loved his family dearly. He knew he was loved in return and felt the love and support they gave him throughout his life.
A memorial has been established for the children's education fund, and donations may be left at the funeral home.
