Shannon Dale Pinion, Sr. (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Shannon Dale Pinion, Sr. passed away Monday, January 9, 2023 in his home in Tipton, Missouri. He was born August 11, 1971 in Waynesville, Missouri, to Fred Pinion and Velma Devore Knapp. At the time of his passing, he was fifty-one years, four months and twenty-nine days.
He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Pinion, and a son, T.J. Pinion.
Shannon is survived by his wife, Chelsey Embrey of Tipton, Missouri; his children, Shannon D. Pinion, II and Austin Pinion, both of Versailles, Missouri, Seth Pinion of Tipton, Missouri, Autumn Brown of Lebanon, Missouri, Kennadie Pinion of Tipton, Missouri, Matthew Logsdon, Joshua Logsdon, Kaylee Logsdon, Hailee Logsdon, MaKenzie McNeal all of Tipton, Missouri; three grandchildren, Kadence, Kensley and April; his mother, Velma Knapp of Lebanon, Missouri; two brothers, Ron Pinion of Jacksonville, North Carolina and Fred Pinion of Sweet Springs, Missouri; and two sisters, Rhonda Brathall of Bern, North Carolina and Sherry Ancell of Lexington, South Carolina.
Shannon grew up in the Stoutland, Missouri area and attended Stoutland Schools. Following graduation, he established his own construction business. He moved the construction company to Tipton, Missouri eleven years ago.
He had a wonderful sense of humor and was very outgoing. Those who knew Shannon said he had a ‘heart of gold’ and enjoyed helping people.
When he wasn’t working, his hobbies included fishing and gardening. He enjoyed hanging out with his family and being outdoors. They enjoyed many activities together and these special memories will stay with them forever.
Funeral services for Shannon Dale Pinion, Sr. will be Friday, Jan. 13 at 10 a.m.at Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon, Missouri. Visitation will be held Thursday evening, January 12, from 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Sleeper, Missouri.
