Sharon Elaine Brown (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Sharon Elaine Brown, daughter of Allen and Melba Maxine Gourley Peppers, was born December 17, 1951, in Fresno, California. She departed this life Thursday, January 4, 2018, in Mercy Hospital, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of sixty-six years, and eighteen days.
On June 17, 1968, she was united in marriage to Earl William Brown, and to this union one daughter was born.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Sharon is survived by her husband of forty-nine years, Earl, of the home; a daughter, Kasey Brown, of Eldridge, Missouri; two sisters, Geneva Starnes, and Linda Peppers, both of Lebanon, Missouri; a half-brother, Dean Peppers, of Lebanon, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in California and then moved with her family to the Lebanon, Missouri area. Soon after she graduated from high school, she and Earl were married and made their home in the Eldridge community. Through the years, Sharon was a devoted homemaker to her husband and daughter and loved being a stay-at-home mom.
Sharon followed the Baptist faith throughout her life.
She enjoyed watching television and relaxing at home. She loved animals and was very supportive of charities for animal causes. She possessed a delightful sense of humor and could be a big cut up. She greatly enjoyed having fun with her sisters.
Sharon was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
