Sharon Claspill (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Sharon Kay Claspill, daughter of Louis Lingerfelt, Jr. and Genevieve Florence Ankrom, was born November 2, 1947 in Springfield, Missouri. She departed this life Friday, July 5, 2024, in her home at the age of seventy-six years, eight months and three days.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Janice Ricca.
She is survived by her children: Shawn Claspill and wife Leslie, of Nixa, Missouri, Shane Claspill and wife Kelly, of Camdenton, Missouri, Renee Blattel and husband Larry, of Lebanon, Missouri, Ronda Rideout of Camdenton, Missouri, and Autumn Gold of Camdenton, Missouri; her grandchildren, Chandra Pearce, Briana Julian, Kawni Claspill, Kenedi Claspill, Tyler Blattel, Taylor Blattel, Shannon Rushton, Jackson Rideout, and Cassie Rideout; her great-grandchildren, Crew, Brooks, Ellie, Nolan, Jex, Rozlyn, Veda, Wrenley, Jet, Blakley, Axton, and Atlas; her sister, Darlene Cassity of Springfield, Missouri; her half-sister Kathy Vinson of Willard, Missouri; cousins, Juanita, Justine, Paula, Richard and John; as well as a host of other relatives and many friends.
Sharon grew up in Springfield and was a graduate of Hillcrest High School. Sharon was known as a hard worker and was one of the first women to drive a truck for the Missouri Department of Transportation. She worked for MODOT for nineteen years until her retirement.
She was saved at an early age and was attending Canopy Church.
Sharon was a bargain hunter and loved to go to Yard Sales. She was also an avid line dancer and enjoyed listening to country music and attending parades. She loved her family fiercely and cherished the time spent with them.
Sharon was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will cherish the many wonderful memories she has created for her family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm, Thursday, July 11, 2024, in the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Visitation will be held before the service from 2:00 pm until the time-of-service Thursday in the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the family in care of the funeral home at 15 Clint Ave., Camdenton, MO 65020.
