Sharon Elizabeth Coffman, daughter of William B. Nutter, Sr. and Wilma Shelton Nutter, was born September 7, 1955, in Lebanon, Missouri. She departed this life Thursday, July 23, 2015, in her home, near Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of fifty-nine years, ten months, and sixteen days.
On December 20, 1971, she was united in marriage to Sammie Wayne Coffman, and to this union one daughter and one son were born.
Sharon is survived by her husband of forty-three years, Sammie Wayne, of the home; a daughter, Samanytha Perryman, and her husband, Jerry, of Lebanon, Missouri; a son, Adam Coffman, and his wife, Michelle, of Lebanon, Missouri; six grandchildren, Cory, Cody, Katana, Dylan, Dalton, and Griffin; her parents, Bill and Wilma Nutter, of Lebanon, Missouri; two brothers, Randy Nutter, and his wife, Barb, and Billy Nutter, and his wife, Barbara, all of Lebanon, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in the Lebanon, Missouri area, and attended Lebanon R-III Schools. After she and Wayne were married, they made their home near Lebanon and lovingly raised their children. Sharon loved being a stay-at-home mother, but also worked at various jobs throughout the years. She had been employed at Ben Franklin, H. D. Lee Company, Wal Mart, and as an independent trucker for a number of years.
Sharon made her profession of faith in Christ and was baptized at an early age in Lake Wales, Florida. She had attended Bennett Spring Church of God. She had a caring heart and was always willing to help others.
In her spare time she enjoyed fishing and traveling, particularly going to Silver Dollar City, especially during the Christmas season. She was an excellent baker and liked baking pies for her husband’s parties at Bass Tracker. She dearly loved her family and greatly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Sharon was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
Memorial donations may be made to the Curry Cancer Center and left at the funeral home.
