Sharon Corley's Obituary
Sharon Kay Corley, daughter of Leroy M. and Florence Richardson Graff, was born October 25, 1943, in San Diego, California. She departed this life Monday, August 28, 2006, in her home, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of sixty-two years, ten months, and three days. On January 14, 1975, she was united in marriage to Robert Corley, and together they shared twenty-eight years before Robert’s passing on December 29, 2003. She was also preceded in death by her father; and her twin sister, Sandra Sue Wilhite. Sharon is survived by five sons, Robert Corley, of Atlanta, Georgia, George David Walker, of Bakersfield, California, Thomas Leroy Walker, of Seattle, Washington, Tracy Lee Corley, of San Diego, California, and Charles A. Thomson, of Ventura, California; three daughters, Laura Ann Wolf, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Becky Snider, of San Diego, California, and Raya Corley, of Lebanon, Missouri,; seventeen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; her mother, Florence Graff, of Lebanon, Missouri; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. She was born and raised in Southern California and had spent most of her life there until the last five years when she and Robert moved to Lebanon, Missouri. Sharon was a devoted homemaker and her family was very important to her. Sharon followed the Protestant faith and her daily life was centered around that faith. In her spare time, she loved horses, trail-riding and anything that had a Western motif. Sharon was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and daughter, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will cherish the wonderful memories she created for her family and friends. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 2, 2006, in the Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Lebanon. Burial will be in San Diego, California. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 7 - 8:00 p.m.under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon, Missouri. Memorials to the American Diabetes Association may be made through the funeral home.
