Sharon Halley's Obituary
Sharon Elouise Halley, daughter of Elmo and Margaret Noe, was born Monday, March 17, 1947, in Kingsport, Tennessee. She departed this life Saturday, November 1, 2008, in her home, Camdenton, Missouri, at the age of sixty-one years, seven months and fifteen days. On December 4, 1997, in Midlothian, Illinois, she was united in marriage to Joseph Harry Halley. Together they shared the past eleven years. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. Survivors include her husband, Joe Halley, of the home; two children, Vernon Smith and his wife, Marie, and Veronica Smith and her husband, Donald, all of Camdenton, Missouri; ten grandchildren; two step-daughters, Kelly Medina and her husband, Ed, of Romeoville, Illinois, and Kristen Rohmer and her husband, Mike, of San Diego, California; two step-grandchildren; five brothers and sisters, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Sharon was raised in the Chicago area and spent most of her life there. She worked as an administrator for the University of Illinois in Chicago. She and her family moved to the lake area about six years ago. She made a profession of faith in Christ and attended Grace Baptist Church in Richland, Missouri. She loved flowers and had a knack for growing things. She enjoyed going to garage sales. Most of all, she enjoyed time spent with her family. Sharon was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. A Memorial service will be at 10:00 am Thursday November 6, 2008 at the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home under the direction of the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home Camdenton, Missouri.
