I was a student of Mrs. Odell at JEB and I thought she was very nice and a really sweet person. I would see her at Wal-Mart and she would always go out of her way to talk to me and she had many students through her years of teaching music she was such a wonderful person and I know is an angel in heaven

Ms. O'Dell was my music teacher at Joel E. Barber the whole time I was there. She was a great person and her love of music showed through her many talents and knowledge. She was the reason I broadened my horizons of music. While I can't carry a tune in a bucket, I love listening to classical and jazz and blues because of her. I wish I would of gotten the opportunity to know her as an adult. My prayers and condolences go out to the family.

It was truly a blessing when Sharon came to be my roommate halfway through my first year of college. I shared her love of music and asked her to play the organ at our wedding which was 47 years ago yesterday!!! Sharon was truly a good person, who was a good friend to me.
