Sharon Sue Truitt (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Today May 19, 2025, We say our final goodbyes to Sharon Sue ( Jenkins) Truitt. Sharon was born May 10th 1948 in Humansville, Missouri to her parents, Verna Blanche (Swabby) Jenkins and Cecil Wayne Jenkins. She was raised on a little farm near Dunnegan, Missouri with her four siblings. Brothers Wayne, Tommy, Deryll and sister Janice. Sharon graduated from Humansville high school in 1966. Sharon married Jackie Truitt February 27,1970. Sharon retired from City utilities in 2002. After moving back to Bolivar, Sharon joined the CMH Auxiliary. There Sharon ran the gift shop for several years, and has greeted many friends from the community. Sharon was known for her feisty Spirit and ready to go attitude. She was always up for anything. She enjoyed spending time with her extended family and friends. She loved traveling and trying new restaurants. She enjoyed casino hopping and finding new machines. Laughing and winning! Sharon leaves behind her husband of 55 years. Jackie Max Truitt. Her brother’s Deryll Jenkins (wife) Lachelle Jenkins, Thomas Jenkins, (wife) Norma Jenkins. As well as many nieces, nephews , extended family and special friends. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the CMH Auxiliary. Services for Sharon will be held Saturday, May 31, 2025, starting at 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM
