Sharon Kay Warren (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Sharon Kay Warren was born June 20, 1954 in West Plains, Missouri to Carl Lashley and Dona Farrell Lashley. She departed this life to her eternal home on Monday, May 6, 2024 in Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. At the time of her passing, Sharon was sixty-nine years, ten months and sixteen days of age.
She is survived by her loving husband Steve, of the home; her daughters, Stephanie Miller and her husband Greg of Niangua, Missouri and Stacie Vestal and her husband Lance of Conway, Missouri, her son, Steven Warren and his wife Melissa of Nixa, Missouri; six grandchildren, Kirsten and her husband Jacob, Ty and his soon-to-be wife Flo, Cassie, Gracie, Raylan and Olivia; two sisters, Lisa Lashley and her husband Allen of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Christi Penley and her husband Charley of Lynchburg, Missouri; one niece, Abbey; two nephews, Wyatt and Brandon; and many close friends.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and a niece, Lindsey.
Sharon grew up in West Plains and moved with her family to Webb City, Missouri where she graduated high school.
On May 19, 1972, she was united in marriage to her true love, Steven L. Warren. To this union, three children were born. Sharon and Steve made their home in Conway where they owned and operated a Dairy farm. Sharon was employed at Mercy Hospital in Lebanon for over five years, but above all, she was always homemaker. She loved being on the farm, raising her children.
Having the title of Nana was her favorite and she looked forward to spending time with them, making memories, as well as attending their sporting events. They brought her so much joy.
Sharon enjoyed her vegetable garden and fishing with her dad. She also had a special friendship with her father-in-law, Jr. Warren. She had several dogs over the years and was very fond of them. In her free time, she liked to get away at a campground and enjoy the great outdoors.
Sharon had a group of close friends she enjoyed spending time with. She was thought of as “the rock” to her friends, as well as her family. She was a loyal friend and neighbor and showed great support and love to her family and friends.
She had a deep faith in her Lord, Jesus Christ and was a member of Phillipsburg Christian Church where she was baptized.
Throughout her life, Sharon was known for her unwavering dedication to her family, embodying the roles of a loving wife, devoted mother, and cherished grandmother. Her home was a haven of warmth, love, and laughter, where countless memories were created and treasured.
Funeral service for Sharon Warren will be Saturday, May 11 at 10 a.m. at Phillipsburg Christian Church. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5 - 6:30 p.m. at Holman-Howe Funeral Home. a private burial will be held. A memorial to the Conway Cemetery has been established and donations may be left at the funeral home by Holman Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon, Missouri.
