Shawn Fletcher (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Shawn Lee Fletcher was born April 27, 1969 to Dallas and Vivian Dame Fletcher in Lebanon, Missouri. He passed away Thursday, February 29, 2024 in Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, Missouri. At the time of his passing he was fifty-four years, ten months and two days of age.
Shawn grew up in the Flatwoods community near Long Lane, Missouri and graduated from Buffalo High School. He started framing houses while in high school and years later, began roofing houses with his uncles. He also helped out on the family farm. He especially enjoyed taking care of the chickens on the farm. He thoroughly enjoyed being outdoors.
Shawn is survived by two sons, Jon Devin Fletcher and his wife Krista of Lebanon, Missouri and Curt Fletcher of Springfield, Missouri; his daughter, Kylie Fletcher and her significant other Evan Potter of Buffalo, Missouri; his mother, Vivian Fletcher of Lebanon, Missouri; his brother, Shannon Fletcher of Lebanon, Missouri; and three grandchildren, Zach, Jonsy and Jamesy.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dallas Fletcher; and one son, Jason Lee Fletcher.
Shawn had a unique hobby of hunting for arrowheads, especially at Moon Valley. He had quite a collection that he was very proud of. He loved watching sports and played baseball and basketball in his younger years.
He loved God and was active at Flatwoods Church. He told everyone about God.
Shawn was a fun person to be around. He liked having a good time, but he also was a caring man and liked helping others.
Most of all, he loved his family very much and was a big part of their lives. He was a loving son, dad and grandpa and looked forward to spending time with them.
We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and know that his family and friends will treasure the wonderful memories he made for them.
