Sheila Jolley (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Sheila Lynne Jolley, daughter of Lawrence Lee and Beulah Fern Williams Mayab, was born December 29, 1953, in Phoenix, Arizona. She departed this life Friday, October 2, 2020, in her home, in Troy, Illinois, at the age of sixty-six years, nine months, and four days.
On October 21, 1972, she was united in marriage to John Ray Jolley and to this union one son was born.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John, on June 19, 2014; and a brother, Daniel Mayab.
Sheila is survived by her son, Timothy W. Jolley, of Troy, Illinois; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was raised in a military family and made her home in various locations while her father was in the service. After she and John were married they made their home in Florida, Texas and Germany while John was serving in the military. Eventually, they settled in Illinois and made their home in the Troy, Illinois area. Through the years, Sheila was a devoted military wife and loving mother and worked hard to make a loving home for her family. She also worked as a sales person and secretary for the Lifetouch Yearbook Company for several years. She had made her home in Illinois since 1985.
She enjoyed cooking and dearly loved her cat, “Shadow”.
Sheila was a loving mother, and caring friend. We celebrate her life and know that she will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
