Sheila Kay (Bass) Gross, age 52, passed away at her home in Riceboro, Georgia on Thursday November 9, 2017, surrounded by her family.
Sheila was born and raised in Seymour, Missouri, one of four children born to H.L. “Sam” Bass and Sharon Kay (Emerick) Bass. She been a resident of Riceboro for the last 5 years. She loved being a homemaker and mother and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She enjoyed reading Christian romance books, quilting, sewing and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Sherrie Wilkey.
Sheila is survived by her husband of 33 years, Mark Gross; two sons and daughters-in-law, Anthony “Kayne” Gross and Amy of Riceboro, Georgia and Timothy A. Gross and Jenny of Hinesville, Georgia; her father-in-law Alonzo "Mack" Gross of Tipton, MO; six grandchildren, Cassidy, Alexander, Anastasia, Rayden, Jaymee and Alonzo; a sister Shelly Whiteley of Jacksonville, Florida; a brother and sister-in-law Patrick Bass and Cindy as well as several nieces and nephews and many more aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
