I am so saddened to hear about Shelly. I have so many fond memories of her and have always considered her one of my favorite friends. I loved playing sports with her. From softball to basketball, we were always tough on each other on the field or the floor, but she always gave me a hug after the game and called me "shorty". We spent so much time laughing together. I can still hear her voice and laugh as if it were yesterday.
Jerry, Brent, Nick and Steve: I know the loss of Shelly will leave a big hole in your life. I just want you to know that she means a great deal to me, even after so many years. I remember each of you as well and I know how special you were to her. I spent last night imagining her smiling in heaven with Janie and my mom. Even through my tears I am so comforted knowing that I will see her again someday. May God grant you the strength and peace you need to make it through this difficult time.
Love in Christ, Dawn McNish-Brooks
It was so sad to read of the passing of Shelly. Fond, fun memories come to mind when I think of the Thieman family; I was privileged to know the family at Hilldale Elementary and have them in second grade. Shelly was a little sweet heart.
Please know how saddened I am that she's no longer here; she will be so missed. The Shelly I knew would want you to continue life to the fullest which will be very hard. Just think of her and smile! God bless each of you
Jerry and Susie, we are so sorry for your loss and we want you to know that you are in our prayers. Find comfort in your faith. One day you will see Shelly again.
