Shelly Thieman's Obituary
Shelly Lynn Thieman, daughter of Jerry F. and Jane Ann (Sherertz) Thieman, was born October 9, 1969 in Springfield, Missouri. She departed this life Tuesday, June 2, 2009 in Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Missouri at the age of thirty-nine years, seven months, and twenty-four days. In 1992, she was united in marriage to Victor Steven Fox, and to this union three sons were born.
She was preceded in death by her mother; her maternal grandparents, George and Sylvia Sherertz; her paternal grandparents, Leonard and Lillie Thieman; and two uncles, L.D. Thieman and Jan Sherertz.
Shelly is survived by her three sons, Sam, Skylar, and Seth Fox, of the home; her father, Jerry Thieman and his wife, Susie, of Springfield, Missouri; three brothers, Brent Thieman and his wife, Katie, of Springfield, Missouri, Nick Thieman and his wife, Laura, of Branson West, Missouri, and Steve Thieman, of Springfield, Missouri; her nieces and nephews, Morgan, Drew, Trevor, and Kelli Thieman; an uncle, David Sherertz and his wife, Janice, of Seymour, Missouri; an aunt, Joy Thieman, of Springfield, Missouri; a number of cousins; the father of her children, Steve Fox, of Seymour, Missouri; as well as a host of other relatives and many dear friends.
She had lived most of her life in Seymour, Missouri, and was a 1988 graduate of Seymour High School. She had worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in area health facilities for several years.
Shelly had made her profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Diggins, Missouri.
In her spare time she enjoyed watching all sports and was especially fond of NASCAR Racing.
She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and niece, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will cherish the memories she has created for her family and friends.
Services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, June 5, 2009 in Holman-Howe Chapel, in Seymour, Missouri with burial in Seymour Masonic Cemetery, under direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Seymour. Visitation will be 7:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday in the funeral home.
