Sherri Mills (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Sherri Jo Mills was born March 3, 1963 in Wichita, Kansas to William and Emma Reid Hill. She passed away in Springfield, Missouri, Monday, December 29, 2025. She was sixty-two years, nine months and twenty-six days of age.
Sherri was raised in the Kansas City area and graduated from Truman High School in Independence, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Robert Mills and together they have celebrated forty years of marriage while raising their four children.
Sherri was happy to be a stay-at-home mom and take care of her family. She loved being a wife and mother and taking care of the household.
Through the years, she and Robert moved to the Bolivar area for twenty-five years and moved to Lebanon thirteen years ago. She was active at Calvary Baptist Church in Lebanon and loved her Lord and Savior with all her heart.
Sherri is preceded in death by her mother, Emma Hill; her grandson, Layton; two brothers, Larry and Charles Hill; one sister, Kathy Hill; and a nephew, Clayton.
She is survived by her loving husband, Robert, of the home; two daughters, Leah Fargon and her husband Skyler of Lebanon, Missouri, Gracie Mills of Springfield, Missouri; two sons, Daniel G. Mills and his wife Courtney of Bolivar, Missouri and Robert Mills and his wife Kelsey of Springfield, Missouri; her grandchildren, Maddox, Maylee, Alyiah, Inara and Audrey; her father, William Hill of Lebanon, Missouri; her sister, Teresa Hill-Palomino of Nixa, Missouri; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Sherri enjoyed going to garage sales and thrift stores. She had a loving spirit and a good sense of humor. Throughout her life, Sherri was known for her unwavering dedication to her family, embodying the roles of a loving wife, devoted mother and cherished daughter. Her home was a haven of love and laughter where countless memories were created and treasured.
Services for Sherri Jo Mills will be held Saturday, January 3, 2026 at 1 p.m. at Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday from noon until service time.
A memorial has been established and donations may be made at the funeral home.
