Sherry Lynn Stout (Mansfield)'s Obituary
Sherry Lynn Stout, daughter of Bill and Rene Hale Farris, was born September 19, 1955 in Kennewick, Washington and departed this life on February 27, 2016 in her home in Mansfield, Missouri at the age of sixty years, five months, and eighteen days.
On March 24, 1972 she was united in marriage to Jay Stout and to this union four children were born.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Lacey Rose Stout; her father, Bill; brother, Mike Farris, and a niece, Carol Henry.
Sherry is survived by her husband of nearly 44 years, Jay of the home; daughter, Misty Page and husband Shannon of Mansfield, Missouri; two sons, Casey Jay Stout, and wife, Shelly, of Ava, Missouri and Dusty Cole Stout, and wife, Lauralei, of Springfield, Missouri; four grandchildren, Dawson Page, Waylon Page, Trenton Stout, and Alaina Stout; her mother, Rene Farris; two brothers, Willie Farris, and wife, Patti and Bruce Farris all of Mansfield.
Sherry was born in Kennewick and raised in Missouri.
She moved with her family to Ava around 1970. She met Jay in Ava, and after marriage, lived in Ava, until moving to Mansfield 25 years ago.
Recently, Sherry was saved, and was attending Skyline Full Gospel Church.
In her spare time she liked tending to her flowers, fishing and baking yard sailing and going to the thrift store, but her greatest enjoyment was spending all the time she could with her grandkids.
Sherry was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. We are deeply saddened by her sudden passing, but we know she is in a better place and she will not have to suffer through the cancer treatments that she would have soon started.
