Shiloh Hicks (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Shiloh Lee Allen Hicks was born October 10, 1990, in Springfield, Missouri. He went to be with his Maker on Saturday, December 3, 2016, in Mercy Hospital, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of twenty-six years, two months, and twenty-three days.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Gilbert Smith, and his grandma and grandpa Gornto.
Shiloh is survived by a son, Remington Lee Allen “10-10” Morse, of Lebanon, Missouri; his significant other, Katie Morse, of Lebanon, Missouri; his parents, Lisa and Sid Gornto, of Lebanon, Missouri; two sisters, Candice Hildebrandt, of Buffalo, Missouri, and Genice Phillips, of Fort Smith, Arkansas; his maternal grandmother, Lois Smith, of Lebanon, Missouri; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was raised in Lebanon, Missouri, and Charleston, Arkansas, and graduated from Charleston High School. He then worked as a groundskeeper and mechanic for the Deer Trails Golf Course in Fort Chaffee, Arkansas for several years. He had moved to Lebanon about three years ago and was employed as a welder at Cambarlac Engineering and Manufacturing Company in Lebanon for the last two years.
In his spare time he enjoyed being outdoors where he liked hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed four wheeling, mudding, and boating. He loved “Eleanor”, his Camero, and liked inventing and fixing things. He had an appreciation for firearms and liked going to shooting ranges. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends and loved animals of all kinds.
Shiloh was a loving father, significant other, son, brother, grandson, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and know that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
