Shirley Janette Beehler, age77, of Flemington, Missouri passed away on Tuesday night, April 9, 2013 at her home in Flemington.
She was born on March 9, 1936 in Parnell, Missouri the daughter of Vea and Izola Arnold.
Shirley was united in marriage to Asa Paul Beehler on June 18, 1955 in Fox River Heights, Illinois. Shirley worked as a teacher’s aide in St. Charles, Illinois and Kodiak Island, Alaska before becoming a homemaker in Flemington. She was a member of the Bethel Southern Baptist Church in Pittsburg, Missouri.
She is preceded in death by her parents Vea and Izola, her son; Nevin Sterling Beehler, six brothers; Vernon Arnold, Afton Kelly Arnold, Ronald Arnold, George Norman Arnold, Garland Arnold, and Ora Lestel Arnold, three sisters; Donice Arnold, LaQuita Joan Arnold, and Carmen Deaver.
She is survived by her husband; Asa, two sons; Bruce Beehler and his wife Lila of Kodiak Island, Alaska, Kevin Beehler of Flemington, Missouri, six grandchildren; Brenda Beehler of Bellingham, Washington, Rachel Whiddon and her husband Ian of Kodiak island, Alaska, Daniel Beehler of Kodiak Island, Alaska, Julie Beehler of Kodiak Island, Alaska, Asa R. Beehler and his wife La Donna of Flemington, Missouri, and Aric Beehler of Springfield, Missouri, four great-grandchildren; Elijah Beehler of Bolivar, Missouri, Julia Beehler of Bolivar, Missouri, Eydis Whiddon of Kodiak Island, Alaska, and Dane Whiddon of Kodiak Island, Alaska, five sisters; Georgine Gilbert of St. Joseph, Missouri, Bonnie Velita Neidel and her husband Harry of Hermitage, Missouri, Sharon Lehman and her husband Joe of Hermitage, Missouri, Sandra Gillpatrick and her husband Bob of Overland Park, Kansas, and Marcella Braddy and her husband Floyd of St. Charles, Illinois, two brothers Edward Arnold of Urbana, Missouri, and Carl Arnold and his wife Joan of Wathena, Kansas, and her sister-in-law; Joan Dick, along with a host of nieces and nephews that mourn her passing.
