Shirley Ann Campbell (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Shirley Ann Campbell, daughter of the late William and Hazel (McCoy) Coy was born on April 11, 1931 in Lincoln, NE, and departed this life on November 14, 2018 at Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar, MO. At the time of her passing she was 87 years, 7 months, and 2 days of age.
Shirley was reared and attended school in Nebraska. She was united in marriage to Arnold Campbell on December 18, 1947 and to this union three children were born, all of whom survived her. They made their home in Lincoln, NE and the Ozarks, moving back and forth several times while Arnold worked in construction. Shirley worked several different manufacturing jobs to help support her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She always enjoyed getting her family together for meal. She also enjoyed gardening, taking care of her flowers, fishing, bingo, and gambling. Shirley was very generous and donated to many charities and organizations.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Arnold; her parents; one brother, Kenneth Coy; and two sisters, Donna Reed and June Henry. She is survived by one son, Leslie Campbell of Long Lane, MO; two daughters, Bonnie & husband Anthony Gleason of Waverly, NE and Sharon & husband James Sweaney of Buffalo, MO; one sister, Gloria Ryburn of Monticello, AR; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves other family members and friends who will all truly miss her.
