Shirley Jean Keller (Humansville)'s Obituary
Shirley Jean Truitt Keller was born on July 11, 1938, to Cecil and Opal Martin Truitt in St. Clair County, Missouri. She passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday evening, December 13, 2025. She was married to Harold Lloyd Keller on June 1, 1957, in Humansville. To this union, five children were born. Shirley was saved and was a faithful member of Hickory Grove Missionary Baptist Church, attending for as long as her health permitted. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She worked at various jobs throughout her life, but her favorite job was babysitting her grandkids and great-grandkids. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lloyd; her sister and spouse, Joyce (Ken) Borchardt, her brother and spouse, Wayne (Darlene) Truitt; brothers and sisters in law Janice (Buck) Myers, Geri (Clete) Baker, Earl Austin, Leo (Reva) Keller, and Shirley (Wayne) Jenkins. She is survived by her children and families, Allan Keller and his wife Gala of Bradleyville, Randy Keller and his wife Eileen of Humansville, Jean and husband Gary Stiles of Bolivar, Don Keller of Hollywood, Florida, Steve Keller and wife Cassandra of Stockton; grandchildren Kris (Megan) Keller of Springfield, Tara (Cody) Williams of Springfield, Mollie (Robert) Keller of Humansville, Lucas (Taylor) Keller of Bolivar, Kenneth (Brooke) Stiles of Columbia, Brett (Ashley) Stiles of Ozark, Jessica (Justin) Wrinkle of Stockton, Kortney (Zack) Privette of Columbia, Zack (Kelli) Keller of Bolivar, Elena and Hanna Mooneyham of Stockton; brother Robert Truitt of Humansville; dear friends Wanda Reno and Gerv Chaney; 17 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Butler Funeral Home in Humansville. Graveside services will take place at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at Humansville Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Carrie J. Babb Cancer Center.
